Advertorial in Lääkärilehti

An advertorial is a print advertisement, written in the form of a newspaper story, which imitates the editorial content of the same publication in its layout, style and typography. The term advertorial comes from the words "advertisement" and "editorial".

The difference between an advertorial and a regular article is that the client is responsible for the content. Advertorials are therefore technically an advertisement, but the content can be for example an article. Advertorials are clearly distinguished from other content by, for example, the use of layout techniques such as a marginal marking that says "advertisement".
